Andrew Morton book on Angelina Jolie details LI days
Remember last summer when North Shore residents were gossiping about seeing hot couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in places like Bagel Works and Cassis in Huntington? Well, Andrew Morton reveals in his juicy new book, “Angelina,” that the couple wasn’t always so happy during their stay on Long Island.

Brangelina, as the star couple is known, reportedly stayed at Rupert Murdoch’s Centre Island estate, which is on the market for $10.5 million. After a day on the set of “Salt,” where residents say scenes were filmed at Caumsett State Park in Lloyd Neck, Jolie allegedly returned to the home extremely unhappy with what she saw. Page 296 reads:
“When she walked through the door, she found a scene of devastation, the kids causing mayhem, the TV blaring away, and Brad upstairs, beer in hand, slumped on the bed.”
Her alleged reaction wasn’t a pretty one.
“She gave him hell. ‘Will you please respect the fact that I am working right now?’ she was reported as shouting. ‘All you have to do today is watch the kids. Will you please do it?’”
This just goes to prove that fame, money, and living in a 10,000-square-foot waterfront mansion doesn’t ensure happiness.
