When the owners of a Mattituck house showed this photo of two Arabo-Friesian stallions to Jim Gebbia of Century 21 Albertson Realty as he prepared to introduce the home for sale online, he said, "That's the picture we're using because it will attract everyone's attention."

Apparently, he was right. Some who've seen the picture for the new $1.699 million listing thought it was a statue, he says, maybe one that could pass as a marker outside a Texas cattle ranch rather than horseplay on the grounds of a rolling North Fork property

"I like to think out of the box," says Gebbia, whose creative ideas include giving out Lotto tickets at open houses.

The stallions are two of four horses on the 11.5-acre property, says Maureen Grippa, who owns the house with husband, Paul.

The 1921 house, which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, has a wraparound porch. There are barns, paddocks and an outhouse on the property.
