Billy Joel lowers price on Sagaponack house, again

Rocker Billy Joel has slashed the price of his oceanfront Sagaponack home by $1.75 million, confirms his listing agent Biana Stepanian of The Corcoran Group. The beach house is now available for $16.75 million, down from its last asking price of $18.5 million.
Joel bought the four-bedroom, six-bathroom home from the late actor Roy Scheider as a gift for ex-wife and food personality Katie Lee. After they split, it came on the market for $22.5 million.
Designer and talk-show host Nate Berkus decorated the home, which was renovated in 2009. The 5,550-square-foot house includes a chef's kitchen.
