A one-time summer vacation home of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and former President Bill Clinton -- the couple spent a month here in August 2010 -- is on the market for $16.995 million. The 3,000-square-foot, four-bedroom, three-bath French contemporary house had been listed for $14.995 million.
Known as the Windmill House, the property features 140 feet of ocean frontage, a beach side gazebo and a private walkway to the beach. The land includes more than an acre of manicured lawns and gardens, a heated pool, privacy hedges and a windmill.
The one-story house, built in 1973, also has a full basement, a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout for views of the ocean.
The house is listed with Vincent Horcasitas and Allison Diana of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
