Just like ex-husband Billy Joel, who wants to sell his Centre Island estate, supermodel Christie Brinkley might have a potential buyer for her Bridgehampton property. "There has been some activity," says Susan Breitenbach, senior vice president of the Corcoran Group, who is listing Tower Hill. Brinkley is asking $30 million. "We've had a couple of good showings," says Breitenbach. Earlier this week, as Real LI reported, broker Shawn Elliott said that his venture capitalist client wants to see Joel's house a second time. After many years of trying, Christie Brinkley has finally given up: Her Tower Hill estate in Bridgehampton, where she lives, is no longer on the market.

"Our precious, home-sweet-home is not for sale," Brinkley said Thursday in a statement through her assistant.

The supermodel has been asking $30 million for the spread, which has been on and off the market since 2002. The 11-bedroom, nine-bath 1898 home on 20 acres has been at the same price since 2007.

Brinkley lives there with her son, Jack, and her daughter Sailor.

The home is still listed as being for sale on The Corcoran Group's Susan Breitenbach's website as well as on Hamptons Real Estate Online. But Breitenbach says the listing is "inactive" and that it is not "being marketed."

"Market conditions are not the best for that price range," says Breitenbach, who was the exclusive broker for the property.

Brinkley says that she did "have a couple nibbles" on the property, but agrees, saying, "The marketplace for large family compounds like Tower Hill may have been
slow."

"Each time anyone showed interest, I would think, Where else can you snowboard and cross country ski? Find frogs in the pond? Roast marshmallows round the campfire? Swing from the grand old trees? Grow veggies in winter in a greenhouse? Grow sweet
organic corn in the summer? Swim, play tennis or paint in an art studio? And catch every rainbow and sunset from your own romantic tower? Tower Hill is a lifestyle as much as a home sweet home for my entire extended family."

One of Brinkley's homes that was not so sweet went on the market this week: Brinkley listed a turn-of-the-century home in North Haven for $15.75 million that is said to be the place where ex-husband, Hamptons architect Peter Cook, romanced a young girl from the area named Diana Bianchi.

"No other properties will be for sale," Brinkley says. "I am keeping the others for my family."
