The Beechwood Organization has launched pre-construction sales for Country Pointe Huntington, the newest development to go up in Huntington Station.

Seventy-six single-level and two-story homes are being built along East Fifth Street. Buyers have four models to choose from, ranging from 1,500 to 2,300 square feet, with prices starting at $439,000.

Floor plans feature a master suite, living room, dining area, gourmet kitchen, one-car garage with loft space and attic or basement.

The on-site sales office is set to open in early 2016; however, buyers are already purchasing the homes based on floor plans, the builders say.

Construction has started, with the first homeowners expected to move in sometime in early 2016, says Michael Dubb, founding principal of The Beechwood Organization.

Country Pointe Huntington will share amenities with the neighboring apartments at Avalon Huntington Station. That includes access to a clubhouse with a fitness center, a swimming pool, a picnic area and landscaping and snow removal services.

The new development is part of the revitalization project that is underway for Huntington Station.

"Twenty-five percent of the 65 market-rate homes are now spoken for," says Dubb. "Our buyers are split between young families and empty-nesters downsizing to a more manageable home. They like the open floor plans and on-site amenities. They also like that they are buying a brand-new home in a central location."
