The iconic Double Diamond house in Westhampton Beach is available to rent this year for the third summer in a row after its restoration.

The 600-square-foot structure, designed in 1958 by modernist architect Andrew Geller, serves as the pool house for a newer five-bedroom home with a heated, gunite saltwater pool. The price from the whole property from Memorial Day through Labor Day is $250,000.

Owner Jonathan Pearlroth, who inherited the 600-square-foot beach house from his father, moved it closer to Dune Road in 2013 and restored it. He then built a 4,200-square-foot modern home, designed by COOKFOX Architects, closer to the ocean.

“If you like modern homes, it has lots of glass walls and beautiful views, wood details and open space,” says Lauren Battista of Brown Harris Stevens, who has the listing for the rental. “You just feel like you’re right on the beach.”

The larger home has a modern, custom kitchen from Henrybuilt of Soho, and both ocean and Moriches Bay views. The Double Diamond house, which overlooks the bay, has new appliances with a retro look from Elmira Stoveworks.
