This East Hampton property, on the market for $899,000, has two 18th century buildings that are believed to have been moved from the grounds of the nearby Maidstone Club in the 1950s.

The main house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a large living room with a fireplace and a kitchen with a dining area. It’s connected by a hedge-lined brick pathway to the one-bedroom guest cottage, which also has a fireplace and an eat-in kitchen. There is an in-ground pool surrounded by brick.

The current owners purchased the property in 2009 and installed a new cedar roof, cedar siding and new mechanical systems, says Jennifer Linick of Halstead Property, who is listing the property with William Kuneth.

The configuration could not be duplicated with current zoning laws, Linick says.
