'Brady Bunch'-like feature marks $950,000 Eatons Neck home
A Midcentury Modern home in Eatons Neck with modern updates but retro charm is on the market for $950,000.
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home sits on 2.5 acres with a pond near Northport Bay. It was built in 1962 and was designed by architect Keith Hibner, who designed houses on the Gold Coast.
The owners remodeled the kitchen 10 years ago and also added updates, including hardwood floors made of reclaimed wood from a barn in West Virginia, says Sari Eidelkind of Lucky to Live Here Realty, who is co-listing the home with Catherine Wallack. The home features an original open floor plan, walls of windows, blue stone floors with radiant heat and a round sunken living room.
“That conversation pit is right out of the 'Brady Bunch,'” Eidelkind says.
