The famous dome house in Fire Island's Davis Park, which has served as a nautical landmark for fisherman in the Great South Bay, is on the market for $675,000.

Hobby Miller, who constructed many homes in Davis Park, built the four-bedroom, two-bathroom dome house from a kit in 1964, says his daughter, Gervaise Baker, an agent at Leesa Byrnes Realty.

"My father built 90 percent of the house," Baker says. "He brought it over on his barge and delivered it to the site."

There are expansive views of the Great South Bay from the home's deck.

Joan Gorta of Leesa Byrnes Realty is listing the property.
