Former Met Carlos Beltran is back up at bat in the game to sell his gated Sands Point mansion with a $305,000 price reduction.
Beltran, who is now a St. Louis Cardinals outfielder, has relisted the 7,500-square-foot Hamptons-style house for $5.495 million. It is also being marketed by a new agency, Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
The house first came on the market in February 2012 for $5.8 million. The listing with another company expired in January.
The seven-bedroom, six-bath, two half-bath home includes a sports bar, home theater, gym and pool room.
Built in 2005, the almost two-acre property comes with an in-ground gunite pool, hot tub and an outdoor stone bar and kitchen.
The home features a courtyard in front as well as coffered ceilings, great room with a barrel ceiling, French doors, a cedar roof and copper gutters.
The property is listed with Douglas Elliman’s Nicholas Colombos and Angela Dooley of The Colombos Team.
