Former Met Jose Reyes put his Manhasset house on the market Monday, just weeks after purchasing another home on the North Shore.
The Toronto Blue Jays shortstop is asking $4.495 million for the 11-room house. Built in 1998, it has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and one half-bathroom, with an attached three-car garage.
The house is located in a gated community with 24-hour security and two tennis courts. The listing describes the home as being in "diamond condition," with a two-story "grand foyer," "gourmet eat-in kitchen" and "sun-drenched living areas." There is a wine cellar in the finished basement.
The home is on three-quarters of an acre.
The property is being marketed by Lisa Paladino of Shawn Elliott Luxury Homes & Estates, who also listed the home Reyes purchased earlier this month in Old Brookville. He paid $4.2 million for the brick-and-cedar Colonial. Read more about that here.
