This Garden City Victorian, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is one of the original homes built by Irish-born millionaire Alexander Turney Stewart, who founded the community in 1869.

On the market for a little less than $3 million, the six-bedroom, 3½-bathroom home has been renovated and restored, retaining original antique touches, including three fireplaces.

"It has not been changed, just been enhanced," says Stephanie Cullum of Coach Realtors, who is co-listing the property with Coach agent Patricia O'Grady.

While the home has a vintage feel, the kitchen is open and modern with a large center island. On more than half an acre, the home also features a wraparound porch.
