A 14-room brick center hall Colonial in Old Brookville whose owner, producer and songwriter Cory Rooney, has entertained everyone from Beyonce to Mariah Carey to Mary J. Blige, has hit the market for $4.895 million.

Rooney has tricked out the mansion with a recording studio, a movie theater and a walk-in closet just for footware.

"He's got a sneaker closet where everything is labeled with Polaroids," says Shawn Elliott of Shawn Elliott Luxury Homes & Estates, who is listing the property with Andrea Attanasio.

Jennifer Lopez, who lives in nearby Brookville, gets her hair done at the home's barbershop. "She doesn't want to be seen or mobbed by people," says Elliott. Rooney was the executive producer of "The Shop" on MTV, which was based on a real barbershop he owns in Queens. Rooney co-wrote "I Need to Know" with Lopez's husband, Marc Anthony. The song won the 2000 Latin Grammy award for Song of the Year. He also co-wrote songs with Destiny's Child, Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson.

Rooney's parents were in The Exciters, who performed with The Beatles.

The gated house was built in 2002 on 3.11 acres. "It's the epitome of luxury, from bathing in the sun in the Jacuzzi in the inground Grecian pool to even having a beauty salon in the home," says Attanasio.

The property also features a guesthouse with a kitchen, a basketball court, a golf hole, a double bridal staircase in the foyer and a SpongeBob Squarepants-themed rec room for kids.

Public records show that Rooney bought the house in 2002 for $2,627,750. Annual property taxes are $61,898.

His agents say he plans to stay in the area so that his children can continue in their private school.
