This Westhampton Beach home, built in the 1890s, has an attached windmill tower. It is on the market for $4.5 million.

Previous owners renovated the home and converted what was once a working windmill into two bedrooms, says The Corcoran Group’s Brian Rocha, who is co-listing the property with Martha Lewis.

The tower has vaulted ceilings that are currently covered. “If someone were to come in and uncover it, there would be beautiful exposed beams up there,” Rocha says.

There is also a caretaker’s cottage with two bedrooms off the home’s kitchen, which is connected to the windmill tower. The main home has eight bedrooms, so there are 12 bedrooms total. The 1.7-acre property also has a heated gunite pool and a pool house, as well as a tennis court.
