A koi pond is found within a glass-wrapped atrium containing trees, rocks and gardens at a Head of the Harbor home listed for $1.25 million.
Pond views are found in many rooms at the Postmodern-style three-bedroom, two-bath home, which is set on 2.61 acres, says listing agent Ida Vergara of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty.
“They have turtles and frogs and amazing fish. It’s a beautiful sight to see,” she says.
The atrium is accessible through sliding doors lining the open-plan great room. That great room includes a three-way fireplace that heats living, dining and sitting rooms, Vergara says. A white-and-stainless steel European-style kitchen includes Liebherr appliances and Caesarstone countertops.
A floating staircase and 24-foot ceilings are found in the home’s foyer, and there are vaulted, tongue-in-groove wood ceilings throughout the circa-1979 home. The foyer, kitchen and great room each include porcelain tile floors.
A custom barn door separates two first-floor bedrooms, which share a custom full bath, from the main floor plan. The second floor is dedicated to an en-suite master bedroom with a balcony overlooking the property and a dressing room.
The home is equipped with central air conditioning and programmable thermal windows with blinds. The property includes a brick patio overlooking the pond, a detached 2.5-car garage and a seven-zone in-ground sprinkler system.
