Hockey Hall of Famer Pat LaFontaine sells Lloyd Harbor house

Retired hockey player Pat LaFontaine's house in Lloyd Harbor has sold for $6.2 million, according to real estate records.
Hockey Hall of Famer Pat LaFontaine recently sold his Lloyd Harbor estate, according to real estate records.
The former New York Islander sold the 2.15-acre property to a New Jersey buyer for $6.2 million. The house came on the market in May for $6.995 million with Elena D’Agostino and Joyce Mennella of Signature Premier Properties. Its last asking price was $6.399 million.
The 7,000-square-foot Hamptons-style home has 550 feet of beachfront.
LaFontaine is also under contract to sell a cottage next door that comes with a 64-by-120-foot ice rink. That property is listed for $2.999 million. It has locker rooms and a scoreboard as well as a pool.
