“The 12-foot ceiling in the living room gets a lot of attention. We had a friend paint a geometric design on the ceiling. And guests always say it’s a great idea. There’s also a den where we watch TV . . . . Out back we have a 36-by-25-foot wood deck where we entertain in the summer.
