A Sea Cliff home said to have been rented by Cole Porter in the 1930s, and listed in 2013 for $3.189 million, is back on the market at a lower price and with new brokers.

Called Westways, the six-bedroom house with four bathrooms and a half-bath was built circa 1915 out of concrete and steel.

"It is said that Cole Porter vacationed in the summers in this home and wrote many songs here," says Debra Russell of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty, who is co-listing the property with Marilyn Jenney.

The current owners have updated the home with a chef's kitchen with copper sinks and radiant heated floors and a new Carrera marble master bathroom. There are also many original details, including egg-and-dart plaster molding and handcrafted wood paneling.

Also on the 1.5-acre property is an outdoor kitchen, cabana and black-bottom gunite pool that "looks very Gatsby," Russell says.
