Here are three Mediterranean-style homes for sale on Long Island.

Brightwaters, 41 West Concourse, $974,990

This 1930 Mediterranean villa sits along Brightwaters' Grand Canal, where agent Patricia Smith of Douglas Elliman Real Estate says “you can enjoy water views from every room in the house.”

The stucco exterior is accented by a red-tiled roof, decorative copper accents and a pergola that follows the curves of the home’s arched windows. Four steps down from the banquet-sized formal dining room, you’ll find a formal living room featuring the home’s original fireplace, with a copper hood that extends to the barrel ceiling, Smith says.

The four-bedroom home offers three full baths, including one in the master suite. The suite has its own terrace overlooking the water, where Smith says the owner “likes to have her morning coffee while watching the sunrise.” The home also offers an eat-in kitchen, hardwood floors, a butler’s pantry, a family room, a sunroom and a heated solarium.

The half-acre property comes with beach and dock rights, and features an infinity-edge pool and three patios, all surrounded by what Smith refers to as “lush perennial gardens.”

Taxes are $20,624. Patricia Smith, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, 516-319-8437.

Baldwin, 3265 Bay Front Dr., $389,000

This Mediterranean home offers the European flair of a stucco exterior, sloped roof and arched windows and doorways, says agent Erik Reilly of Island Advantage Realty. It also features unobstructed views of the canal across the street. Reilly says the shell is all that remains of the 1928 home, which was damaged in Superstorm Sandy.

The house was completely gutted, Reilly says, making way for a new eat-in kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, two new subway-tiled bathrooms and new electrical, plumbing and heating systems. Reilly says there’s a formal dining room and a sunken living room with vaulted ceilings as well as a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace.

Another appealing addition to the 1,525-square-foot home — one of the home’s three bedrooms is a master suite with a walk-in closet. There are new hardwood floors throughout home and a tile floor in the enclosed porch. The 58-by-120-foot property has a rear deck with a pergola and an attached garage.

Taxes are $11,547. Erik Reilly, Island Advantage Realty, 516-984-0789.

Long Beach, 414 East Beech St., $878,000

No expense was spared in the Mediterranean makeover of this home, says agent Evangelia Boudourakis of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. The 1951 home was completely renovated in 2005, Boudourakis says, to include a stucco and Venetian plaster exterior, a red-tiled roof and ornate windows and trim.

The four-bedroom house has three bathrooms and a half-bath, a formal living room and a formal dining room with floor-to-ceiling doors that open to the front porch. There’s a master suite with a custom bath and a private terrace, a den and office in the finished basement and a cedar closet in the attic.

The family’s favorite place in the house, Boudourakis says, is the open-area eat-in kitchen and great room, which has a fireplace and sliding glass doors to the yard. Outside there is a pergola, patio, outdoor shower and bike shed on the 60-by-100-foot property, which is equipped with inground sprinklers. Boudourakis says the home has been featured on Long Beach Historical Society tours and is a few blocks from the beach.

Taxes are $15,338. Lori Coppola and Evangelia Boudourakis, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, 631-831-5466 and 917-751-6700.
