Islip Victorian comes with original details
A restored Islip Victorian, built in 1890, is on the market for $1.129 million.
The home was built as a summer cottage. It has original handmade windows with the original wavy glass, says Claire Whitehouse of Century 21 Selmar, who has the listing.
The wide backyard is surrounded by 60-foot pine trees that give the property lots of privacy.
“It’s set back, majestic and very inviting at the same time,” seller Peter LaSpina says about his home.
The house has nine bedrooms, two of which have fireplaces, three bathrooms, one half-bath and four more fireplaces. The house has central air-conditioning, gas heat and was recently painted.
