A Lattingtown home that sits opposite the former estate of Madame Chiang Kai-shek is on the market with its 6.7 acre property for a little more than $2.7 million.
Built circa 1914, the six-bedroom house features a living room with a barrel ceiling made of plaster and a large formal dining room that listing agent Michele Gottlieb of Douglas Elliman Real Estate compares to a ballroom.
“You can really feel the grandeur of the early 1900s in this house,” Gottlieb says.
The house sits on 6.75 acres with a long driveway, apple orchards and a separate three-bedroom ranch.
