A home on Moriches Bay in Remsenberg that was built by the Entenmann family is on the market for $8.2 million.

The current owner purchased the home in 1993 from Mary Entenmann, the former wife of Robert Entenmann, grandson of the founder of the baked goods company.

In renovating the six-bedroom, 7.5-bath, 9,700-square-foot house, the owners kept some original features, such as wood beam ceilings in the kitchen, says James Saladino of Compass Realty, who is listing the property with Elaine Hammond.

Highlights of the house include a professional prep kitchen, basket weave design entry steel doors, mahogany and glass inset doors, bedroom suites with decks overlooking the bay, three wine coolers with storage for 325 bottles, and a gym with a heated floor.

The acre-long property features a swimming pool with a swim-up kitchen and bar/grill area, pool house with indoor and outdoor showers, 186 feet of bulkhead and high-tide boat lifts, and a mahogany walkway leading to the water.
