Levittown home comes with artist's touch

Most Levitt houses on Long Island have been expanded and modified over the years. But Paula Clayton added her own artistic touches to her home in Levittown, now on the market for $339,000.
The centerpiece is a winter landscape Clayton painted on the living room wall, her take on a Currier and Ives print. Volz said her mother came home every night and added to the oil painting little by little. Clayton also used the garage — which was eventually connected to the main house and includes a greenhouse — as a studio and classroom where she taught arts and crafts.
