Michael Lohan to film reality show at Water Mill house
The press release trumpets that a new Internet-only reality show will be filmed at the Water Mill estate of Michael Lohan. The only problem with the "Celebrity House NY" announcement is that the property actually belongs to Lindsay Lohan's dad's friend.
But Lohan says he will be buying the four-acre property from the friend through a lease-purchase arrangement. The house sold via auction in January for $1.65 million to a limited-liability corporation, according to property and real estate records.
Lohan owns a town house in Southampton, which he says he will keep.
The six-bedroom, five-bath, 4,450-square-foot house comes with a heated in-ground pool and tennis courts.
The house had been for rent for $125,000 from Memorial Day to Labor Day or $65,000 from August to Labor Day. Monica Reiner of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, who is marketing the property, says the house has been rented.
The show will be streamed live at www.Ustream.tv starting next month and feature such celebrities as Lorenzo Lamas of "Falcon Crest" fame and Jeremy Jackson of "Baywatch." Other cast members will include Lohan's girlfriend, gossip journalist Kate Major; Hailey Glassman, another Jon Gosselin ex; Cindy "Rodeo" Steedle of VH1's "Rock of Love"; and Joslyn James, a porn actress who claims to have been one of Tiger Woods' mistresses.
