A five-bedroom, 5½-bathroom home once owned by the Mott's Applesauce family is on the market in Brightwaters.

The house, which is listed for $975,000, was restored to its 1900s grandeur by its current owner, who is a commercial cabinetry builder, says Steven Rainone of Netter Real Estate, the listing agent for the home.

"He restored it and took the home to a new level," Rainone says.

There are herringbone floors throughout, with inlaid brass borders, and all the interior doors were replicated from the original design, he says.
