There won't be just help in English and Spanish but also Creole at the next monthly foreclosure consultation clinic organized by the Nassau County Bar Association.

The Dec. 6 clinic for borrowers will have Creole-speaking attorneys. It's the latest development for the clinic, which was started almost two years ago to give people one-on-one advices.

There will be housing counselors, attorneys, bankruptcy experts, county officials and the Nassau/Suffolk Law Services Volunteer Lawyers Project, which provides pro bono legal services for those who meet certain income guidelines.

The free event is from 3 to 6 p.m. at the bar's Mineola headquarters at 15th and West streets. Call 516-747-4070 for reservations. Participants are asked to bring mortgage documents, including foreclosure-related papers and monthly statements.
