Nate Berkus, Candice Olson join Ronald McDonald House gala

Several Long Island interior designers will gather from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 8 for A Taste of Project Design 2015, a gala celebration to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island in New Hyde Park.

The event will include appearances by designer and author Nate Berkus and designer and TV personality Candice Olson of HGTV's "Divine Design." There will also be home decor shopping, designer vignettes and tours of the 42-bedroom Ronald McDonald House of Long Island.

During the past two years, the building, which houses families with children undergoing treatment at Cohen Children's Medical Center in New Hyde Park, has been renovated and redesigned by several top designers. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served.

Tickets are $300 and VIP tickets -- which include early entry, VIP butler service and private access to an outdoor beer garden -- are $450.
