Finding affordable property in the Hamptons is nearly unheard of. Now comes this little yellow cottage.

On the market for $270,000, the three-room home is a mere 544 square feet. And, it's off the impossible-to-get-around Hamptons roads of summer.

“It is quite private,” says listing agent Deirdre Devita of Brown Harris Stevens. "It’s on a private road, so only the people who live there drive up -- it is a dirt road owned by the residents living on the road.”

The one-bedroom, one-bathroom house is on a 1.1-acre lot with a hammock out front.

“It’s very cute, and has a happy vibe. it is like being at a camp, somewhere rustic,” Devita says.

The house is in “fresh condition,” Devita says. It has been recently painted, the driveway was refurbished and some landscaping was recently done.

Residents of the town also have access to Peconic Bay beaches, located nearby.
