The Cove Neck estate once owned by Rep. Frederic Rene Coudert Jr. and then his son, the late attorney and philanthropist Frederic “Fritz” Coudert, is now listed for $4,999,999.
The house, which has a 228-foot deepwater dock, came on the market last year for $6.25 million. The 2.8-acre property overlooks Oyster Bay Harbor.
There is a five-bedroom guesthouse. The home, which is still owned by family, is listed with Anne E. Kerr, of Piping Rock Associates.
