Part of Old Westbury's Entenmann estate on market for $15 million
Part of the estate once owned by members of the Entenmann family is on the market in Old Westbury. The land, totalling 40 acres, is priced at $15 million.
Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate’s Michael Gorwits says that the property is already subdivided into 16 separate lots ranging from 2 to 6.5 acres. “It’s complete and ready to go,” he says.
Gorwits says that the land is available as a whole and would be perfect for either a developer or someone who wants to keep it as a very large private estate.
“The land is very beautiful, very flat,” Gorwits says. “It’s very private. The front entrance is covered with mature trees and there’s also a natural pond.”
Vestiges of the original horse farm on the property remain, including one of the original stables and an indoor riding circle remain.
