A Mission-style home in Patchogue has come on the market for $549,000.

Built circa 1918 as a home for builder Henry Tenney, the three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom house is of the Mission style, with a stucco exterior, decorative, titled roof line and arched windows.
Tenney sold the home to Eugene Ergo, who made and sold sausages out of the home, notes Perry Goldsmith of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, who is listing the property with Joyce Roe.

In 1993, Goldsmith’s parents purchased the house from her grandfather, John Miller, who bought it from Ergo. Her father, Stephen Goldsmith, renovated the 2,000-square-foot home several years later, adding custom white oak floors with black walnut borders, moldings, radiant heat floors and central air, but kept the coffered chestnut ceilings in the living and dining rooms, and chestnut stairs and banister.
The home is on a .66-acre lot.
