The new owner of a Sagaponack home that sold this past year for $43.5 million wants to tear it down. The 6,200-square-foot oceanfront home once belonged to Joanne Corzine, the ex-wife of former New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine. She set a record in 2009 when she rented the house for $900,000. She sold the property to New Jersey billionaire hedge fund manager David Tepper through a limited liability corporation. He now has approval from the village to demolish the house and build anew.
