Rich Cribs: Hamptons home where Clintons stayed, and more

FULL TILT. Bridgehampton's Windmill House is still on the market for $14.995 million -- but now with a new cachet. The 3,000-square-foot oceanfront home is where Bill and Hillary Clinton spent the summer, a press release announced Friday. "We didn't want to put out anything while they were staying there or before they came," says Eric Mangan, a spokesman for The Carlton Exchange, which is co-listing the property with Vincent Horcasitas of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate. The four-bedroom, three-bath French contemporary-style home is known as the Windmill House because, says Mangan, there is a windmill in the driveway. The house came on the market earlier this year.

EXEC SELLS. The East Hampton home belonging to a retired Lehman Brothers executive has finally sold. Jack L. Rivkin's 1.86-acre property went for $22.875 million, according to the Long Island Real Estate Report. The 7,000-square-foot, six-bedroom home came on the market last year for $31 million. Rivkin resigned in 2008 from Neuberger Berman, which was then a Lehman company. Kathy Konzet of Sotheby's International Realty was the listing agent; Sotheby's also brought the buyer, who purchased the property in a corporate name, MTSTL LLC.

NEW LISTING. A well-known American banker has listed his Matinecock estate for $5.45 million. Public records show that the owner is Douglas A. Warner III, who engineered the 2000 sale of J P Morgan & Co. to Chase Manhattan Bank for more than $30 billion. The 5.06-acre property has a seven-bedroom, six-bath, three-half-bath French-style manor house with a pool, terraces, a walled garden and a wine room. Patrick Mackay of Piping Rock Associates and Christina Porter of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty have the listing.
