A three-bedroom, two-bathroom Cape on a large corner property in Roosevelt is on the market for $570,000. Annual property taxes are $8,862.

The approximately 1,200-square-foot house is on a 100-by-100 lot in a neighborhood that’s a short drive to the Southern State Parkway but doesn’t get cut-through traffic because it’s on a dead-end street, Howard Avenue.

“The reason why it’s an amazing property is you’re getting a huge space,” said listing agent Marie Ulysse of Signature Premier Properties. “There’s a huge backyard and huge front yard.”

While the current owners only bought the house in January, they're selling it now because of a family matter, she said.

Built in 1936, the house was recently renovated, Ulysse said, including the kitchen, which has stainless steel appliances. There are hardwood floors, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a spacious den and a full finished basement with walkout access. The home has natural gas heating and hot water and is filled with natural light, she added.

“The house is in excellent condition, the way you see in the pictures is what you get,” Ulysse said.

Set on just shy of a quarter-acre, the property has a detached one-car garage and is surrounded by a white-picket fence. It is zoned for the Roosevelt Union Free School District.
