Rosco Farmhouse in Southampton Village hits market for $3.9M

Southampton Village’s circa-1900 Rosco Farmhouse is back on the market after a renovation by its fashion-executive owners. It is listed for $3.995 million.

The four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home is on a half-acre corner parcel, says listing agent Mary Slattery of The Corcoran Group.

Quinn Pofahl and partner Jaime Jimenez — both senior executives at luxury lifestyle brands — bought the 2,600-square-foot house three years ago. A gut renovation resulted in a floor plan with continuous flow on the first floor, Slattery says.

Custom furnishings throughout the home are available for purchase. Many of the pieces were designed specially for the home’s nooks and crannies to create intimate spaces for conversation.

A glass entry with wood floors, wainscoting and original moldings leads to the living room, which has a library, game table and fireplace. A second fireplace is in the home’s den. An eat-in kitchen with marble counters, a Viking stove, Sub-Zero appliances, below-counter cabinets and a custom round black table serves as a focal point for the first floor, Slattery says.

On the second floor, the master bedroom suite has high ceilings and views of the backyard pool. There are also two guest bedrooms. A fourth bedroom is on the third floor.

The thermostat can be set remotely using the Nest smart home system, while playlists can be cued up on a tablet and played on the WiFi-ready home’s extensive speaker system.

A wet bar off the kitchen opens to a deck with a pergola. An in-ground saltwater gunite pool and a pool house with a covered patio, kitchenette, and full bath are set to the back of the property.

The “very cleverly landscaped” parcel with high hedges is designed to ensure that plants, not a road or a neighboring home, are seen when looking out windows, Slattery says.
