There’s plenty of room to rock at this extended ranch in Smithtown. The four-bedroom, three-bath renovated home, listed for $699,000 with Lisa Corwin of coach Realtors, features its own recording studio.

It was always homeowner Anthony Castelli’s “lifelong dream” to have a recording studio in his house, he says. Castelli first began production on the studio in 2001, finishing it in 2004. It has three rooms -- the main room, the sound room and an isolation room.

Castelli says he chose to construct an isolation room instead of an isolation booth because he wanted a room for his drum set and “a place to record drums without having sound leakage” during recording, even though the entire space is soundproof.

Upon its completion, Castelli launched his own production company: Castle Production Records, which has gone on to record artists and groups. He also uses the studio to practice with bands he plays with.

The house also features a walk-in closet in the 800-square-foot master suite, a heated pool, wet bar, two Jacuzzis, gym and game room. Click here for more information.
