Southampton Gin Lane oceanfront listed at $37.5 million

This oceanfront property on Gin Lane in Southampton is on the market for $37.5 million.

"It's the best address in all of the Hamptons," says Beate Moore of Sotheby's International Realty, who is marketing the property. "All of Gin Lane is good, but this spot is the best."

The property is on nearly three acres on the Atlantic on a beach that can only be accessed with a homeowner's permit, Moore said.

The property also has a pool, tennis court and oceanside gazebo.

The house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a half-bath. It is about 2,500 square feet. It was a carriage house that was once part of a 1950s estate, Moore says.

The master bedroom has views of the ocean.
