Town & Country Real Estate opening Montauk office

Town & Country Real Estate is making some property moves of its own.

The company plans to open an office in Montauk, at 764 Main St., within a month, Janet Hummel, a managing partner, said. The company had two East Hampton-based agents working in the Montauk area and decided to add the office after the agents landed “quite a few sales” recently.

Two more agents joined the company after the decision to open the office, and the Montauk site will bring to eight the number of locations Town & Country have out East.

The company is also getting ready to move its Bridgehampton office just a bit. They now have an office of about 1,000 square feet in the hamlet and are moving next door to one that is about 1,900 square feet, in a couple of months,  Hummel said.

Their address, 2415 Main St., will remain.
