What's going on at Jericho's Horizon development?

The unheard of, at least in this market. "We sold three houses today," Shawn Elliott of Shawn Elliott Luxury Homes & Estates said Thursday.

The homes are in the 29-unit gated luxury community off Jericho Turnpike known as The Horizon. And the contracts were indeed signed Thursday, according to real estate records. The listing prices for the four-bedroom, 3.5-bath units were are $1.32 million, $1.39 million and $1.49 million. Taxes for each are $20,000 a year.

Located in the Syosset school district, the newly constructed Colonial-style homes feature three kinds of facades -- stone and stucco, stone and brick, or brick. All of them have walkout basements and custom detailing.

Elliott's agency took over the listing two months ago from Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, he says. And records show that the firm also brought the buyers.
