Why it’s for sale. Ambrosait, 68, is retired from Northrop Grumman. She says she wants to move to Florida.
Ambrosait has lived in her expanded Cape for 41 years and raised her three children there. It’s on a tree-lined street in central Glen Cove and has a detached one-car garage. She talks about her home:
“The kitchen is renovated. Everything in it is new except the stove. I did new cabinets, new counters and new wood flooring. I spend most of the time in the kitchen .?.?. The main-floor bathroom has also been renovated, and I put in a step-in shower. The master bedroom is on the first floor .?.?. It was at one time a family room and could very easily be converted back .?.?. The kitchen and dining area are very spacious .?.?. There’s a deck in the backyard, and that’s really my favorite. It’s right off the kitchen through French doors .?.?. There’s a nice covered porch in the front of the house -- it’s nice to sit out there.”
