Why it’s for sale. Donna O’Sullivan, 52, a stay-at-home mother, and her husband, James, 67, a retired New York Port Authority employee, and their 16-year-old son, Ryan, are relocating to Florida to be closer to Donna’s sister.

The O’Sullivans have lived in their house since 2005. The home, built in 1969, has three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Features include central air-conditioning, a two-car garage and a wood-burning fireplace. The O’Sullivans updated the kitchen with a tile backsplash and new flooring and counters, and did similar work in one of the bathrooms. Donna said of the home’s appeal:

“When we were looking for a house, it was important to me that we lived on a quiet street. This is a quiet street, and we have the best neighbors. The property is a half-acre, and we have woods in the back.

"My husband needed a man cave, so the den is on one side of the house, and the formal living room is on the other. So we each have our space. We have a formal dining room and French doors that lead out to a screened-in gazebo."
