“The family room is huge and has a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. It’s extremely cozy, comfortable and beautiful. It’s funny .?.?. everyone that goes in there falls asleep, like someone has spread pixie dust .?.?. The kitchen has a granite floor, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a double oven and new cooktop. I cook a lot, and I bake a lot, and it’s a great kitchen to work in .?.?. The bathrooms are granite .?.?. with frameless glass shower enclosures.

There’s a heated Jacuzzi tub and a steam room in the master bathroom. We have the nicest lawn in the area .?.?. and great plantings. There’s a Trex-type deck in the back and a hot tub. We entertain around the pool.

There’s an Amish-built shed that matches the house. It has electric and could be used as a children’s playhouse. We put music speakers in it. When we look out our front, we see the Cold Spring Country Club golf course.

We walk to Oheka Castle every night, walking the dog. It’s about a seven- or eight-minute walk. Another nice thing is that the Cold Spring Civic Association is very involved (in the area) and there are lots of activities for the community. The most special one -- there’s a ball every year at the [Oheka] castle just for the residents. It’s like going to a wedding without having to give a gift.”
