Why it’s for sale. Judy, 59, a hairdresser, and Sal, 64, retired from the Long Island Rail Road, are divorcing.

"We have .?.?. a panoramic view [of the bay] from the kitchen, the living room, the dining area and two bedrooms. Everyone says, ‘Oh, my God, look at that view,’ when they walk into the house. It’s very light and airy. We are on enclosed pilings with a 2½-car garage. A staircase in the middle of the house from the garage brings you into the great room. There are hardwood floors throughout and catty-corner fireplaces in the master suite and great room .?.?.
"There’s no grass, so it’s maintenance free. It’s all stone, so we don’t have any mosquito issues. With Sandy, because of the 12-foot elevation of the house, there was no damage to the living area of the home .?.?.
