Why you should buy his house in Dix Hills

In 1989, the Keepermans bought a ranch that was on their current property. They raised two sons in the house and then in 2011 demolished the house and built a 3,400-square-foot expanded ranch. Richard talks about the home:
"It's a totally open house. If you were to ask a broker what's on a buyer's wish list, most customers would say, 'I want an open [layout].' .?.?. The open area combines the family room, dining room, living room and kitchen. .?.?. I have a 12-foot island in the kitchen.
.?.?. The house is architecturally very different from a regular house. I would call it a house of the future. Ninety percent of new houses will be built like this .?.?. People say, 'Wow, I feel like I'm in California or I feel like I'm in the Hamptons.' We have ceiling fans .?.?. in each room. I have Thermofoil cabinets in the kitchen. We do a lot of entertaining -- guests gather in the open area.
.?.?. All the bedrooms are on the first floor. The second floor is unfinished and could be two bedrooms, a library or a theater. There's a patio outside .?.?. It's our dream house. We met with the architect 15 times .?.?. We planned every inch of this house."
