The dictionary’s definition of sprawling should say, “See the Zacharoffs’ home.” It’s on two acres and includes a barn. Kevin says:
“We have a very artistically done staircase in the front center hallway, handcrafted in oak. The kitchen is light, airy and spacious, with French country hardwood cabinets. We have a dual fireplace. One side’s in the kitchen and the other in the den. . . . The house is perfect for someone who works at home. One of the bedrooms serves as an office with its own bathroom. I just shut the door and have private work space. . . . People like the barn. There are three levels and two separate garage door entrances. It’s great for storage and automobiles (up to six). The property is on a corner. We’re set back and very secluded. Flax Pond is a homeowners’ association with a private beach. We’re one block from Conscience Bay but not on the water. Waterfront property requires maintenance, and here you just walk to the bay. . . . The school district was our whole point in buying in 1994. Our daughter, now 35, benefited from our move into the Three Village school district. It lived up to its reputation. She got a fantastic education.”
