“We have panoramic water views and sunsets. What’s special for me are the moonsets. I’ll wake my daughter at 3 a.m. if the bay is calm and the moon is full. It’s wonderful.
"My daughter and friends watch lightning storms roll in. It’s a great view of the show Mother Nature puts on. Most of the rooms have water views.
"There are two master suites on the first floor, each with a full bath. The kitchen has more country charm than a granite look. This place is very livable and homey. People love being in the sitting room. It has the best views. My daughter even suntans in there.
"There’s a private beach nearby with a dock and deepwater mooring. On Friday nights, we grab hots dog and walk to the beach. There’s always somebody with the barbecue going. It’s a nice life for a family growing up.
"The beach association ($200 annual dues) has all kinds of family events. We still have progressive dinners twice a year. You have an entree at one home and dessert at another. It’s a great way to get to know your neighbors.”
