“We have nine months of gorgeous blooming flowers every year. The backyard is a green flowering oasis beautifully surrounding the pool. When one plant fades another pops up. We have color from March to early November. The pool has an electronic cover that keeps the greenery out and the heat in.
"I love the layout of the house. The master suite is in an area separate from the other bedrooms. It’s a great house for parties, both indoor and out. We’ve had up to 70 people here. We totally renovated the kitchen about 8 years ago with new appliances and cabinets.
"We created a cathedral ceiling and expanded the kitchen into the garage, although there’s still space for two cars. We have a built-in ice maker that can produce 35 pounds of ice a day. All our guests love this kitchen. It’s timeless. The family room flows through a large archway into the dining room, which flows into the living room.
"We have a full basement and part of it is finished. There’s loads of storage. Also a wet bar. The neighborhood is family-friendly. There’s lots of get-togethers. It’s great place to raise kids, and the train station is only a mile away.”
