“The focal point when you walk in is the living room and the wood-burning fireplace. We just redid the kitchen with tumbled marble flooring, stainless steel appliances and granite counters. The kitchen looks out onto the backyard.
"The property is unique. There’s a farm across the street and a tree farm behind us, so we’re surrounded by farms. Only half the backyard is landscaped, the rest is natural. We have a deck that’s off the kitchen where we barbecue all year long. I built a three-section raised box bed for vegetables that has its own built-in irrigation ...
"We also renovated the hallway bathroom. We put in a custom vanity, white subway tile, a marble floor and a pocket door. The master bedroom has its own bathroom ...
"There are two huge bonus rooms upstairs. One room we use as second den where our girls play. And we’ve used it for entertaining. The space is currently unheated, but can be easily converted to two large bedrooms ...
"The neighborhood is excellent and extremely quiet. You can walk to the Bayview Farm Stand. The neighbors are friendly and outgoing and willing to help anyone. We’re within walking distance to Paumanok Vineyards Jamesport Vineyards, and Woodside Orchards.”
