Why it's for sale The couple have another house on the East End, where they say they would like to live full-time. Jason, 39, installs shower doors, and Maureen, 40, is a teacher's aide. Their son, Sean, 18, is in college.
The Horans went to town renovating this house since they moved in about six years ago. "It was a plain wide ranch," Jason says. "We expanded up and redid the entire first floor." It's about 2,900 square feet. The main level features an open floor plan with a living room with wide plank floors, a step-down den with fireplace and a kitchen with custom cabinets, a copper sink and high-end appliances. There are 31/2 bathrooms and four bedrooms, three of which - including the original master suite - are on the main level. Jason talks about the house, which is on a quarter of an acre:
"We put in a master suite with a huge master bathroom and an extra-large walk-in closet bigger than most bedrooms. The master bath has two seats and so many shower heads that my friends call it the car wash. . . . My favorite room is probably the kitchen/den area. When you entertain, you can talk to everyone - there's plenty of room ."
